U.S. Oil and Gas (PLUS: USOP), the oil and gas exploration company with exploration assets in Nevada, USA, today announces the following board appointments:

Appointments:

Mr. Andrew Harwood, ACII – Finance

An Investment Fund Manager and Financial Planner since 1989, Mr. Harwood brings his extensive experience in corporate investment in the oil and gas sector to the company.

Mr. Harwood is currently a Fund Manager of an OEIC (MFMCFSBalanced Opportunities Fund) and Managing Director ofCFSIndependent Ltd.

Mr. Harwood has been a lecturer for the British Council in its pre-retirement seminar for senior employees and has also provided financial and investment advice to listeners on LBCtalkback radio. He was also a regular speaker to visitors of the annual Money Show at Olympia.

Mr. Howard will be working together with the CEO Brian McDonnell on all financial matters.

Peter Whelan,B.A., M.Sc. Trinity – Audit/Remuneration/Contracts

Working in law enforcement, compliance and management since 1982, Mr. Whelan has held various roles in the enforcement of, criminal, public health, environmental and sea fisheries law.

Formerly Director of the Service Contracts Division of the FSAI, Mr. Whelan has had responsibility for developing, managing, reviewing and renegotiation of service contracts across the public service.

Mr. Whelan is currently Chairman of the Sea Fisheries Protection Authority (SFPA). Working closely with the Office of the Attorney General, the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Gardaí, Mr. Whelan advises Government Ministers on policy and enforcement and has overall responsibility for corporate governance issues and is directly accountable to a parliamentary committee on budget expenditure and organisational performance.

Mr. Whelan will head up the Audit and Remuneration Committees.

Karim Akrawi, B.Sc. Baghdad -Exploration

USOIL and Gas plc is pleased to announce that Mr. Karim Akrawi has been appointed to the board of USOIL. Mr. Akrawi was Senior Exploration Geologist with Abu Dhabi Company (ADCO) for Onshore Oil Operations from 1980to 2008, an enterprise currently producing 1.8 million barrels of oil per day. Mr. Akrawi has also been involved in majordiscoveries and field development in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and elsewhere in the Gulf exploration area. His expertise includes formulating well proposals, planning and supervising drilling operations, carrying out geological and feasibilitystudies, preparing conceptual field development plans, evaluating the economics of well development, estimating probable oil and gas reserves, and risk analysis.

Mr. Akrawi is currently General Director for Geodynamics Worldwide, the company responsible for developing and implementing the Infra Passive Deferential Spectroscopy (IPDS or Passive Seismic) survey technology worldwide. Dr. Akrawi has presented and published numerous papers and reports on the application of IPDS and has made a significant contribution to the development of the technology as used today in oil exploration around the world.
